Artist duo Bettina Hvidevold Hystad / Simon Torssell Lerin started to collaborate in 2010 because of a shared interest in questions about improvisation, collaboration, storytelling and chance. The duo works interdisciplinary, Hystad having a background in fine art and Lerin having a background both in art and music. Central in their practise is the dialogue, between themselves, participants in their projects and the subjects of research. There works are mainly presented as books and vinyl records but also as sound installations, happenings and performances. The duo graduated with a Master in Fine Art from Konstfack in Stockholm in 2013. They have had solo exhibitions at Kyoto Art Center, Yunnan Contemporary and Organhaus Art Space. Their works have been shown in group exhibitions at Malmö Konsthall, Tensta Konsthall, Casino Luxembourg, La Casa Encendida (Madrid) and Unge Kunstneres Samfund (Oslo) amongst others.
